What's Hot
Ambius Interior Plantscaping Design
In the early days of interior plantscaping, the tendency was to go for lots of foliage in plain, purely functional containers. The "jungle" effect was in vogue for a while and there was little design element in the limited range of containers available. The situation is very different today, with much more emphasis on single, architectural, high quality plants in striking containers, to produce displays that have a "wow" factor.
An ever-expanding range of indoor plant varieties and contemporary container designs is now available and a great deal of imagination is being applied to their use.
Small footprint – big design
At Ambius Indoor Plants, one of our most popular office plant displays uses narrow containers with shorter plants. Often displayed in pairs, these complement the sleek lines of modern interior furnishings.

Cabinet-top plants
Every office has filing cabinets and cupboards, the tops of which are ideal places for plants. They will help soften the edges of the cabinets and can make the space seem bigger. This is achieved by leading the eye away from the hard top edge of the cabinet and taking it to view the space beyond. In a large office with several ranks of cabinets, the effects can be quite dramatic.

Cubicle-top plants
The office cubicle can be dull and monotonous. A solution to help personalise this space, is to use specially made cubicle-top plant containers. These allow plants to be placed on the edges or corners of cubicle walls and provide all cubicle occupants with a plant to call their own. Trailing plants or a range of small plants including coloured and flowering plants can be used for different effect.
Desktop displays
There is some evidence that office staff may take greater pride in their workspace if they are given a greater say in the choice of furnishings – including a choice of desktop plants. Ambius Indoor Plants offer a variety of styles, shapes and colours to choose from to help workers personalise their space.

Plant screens and room dividers
The space in open plan offices is frequently divided by screens, either to provide a limited amount of privacy or to segregate different functions within the space. For a screen divider with a difference, you can’t go past the Schiavello vertical garden tower from Ambius Indoor Plants, or a combination of traditional pots and plants grouped together to form a fresh green-zone.
